Landscapes Under Threat - Harnham Relief Road

This painting shows Salisbury Cathedral across the fields from where the Harnham Relief Road would go. If this road goes forward, one can imagine that a full Salisbury Bypass will be on the wish list of Wiltshire County Council et al in the future - it is one part of the arc of the original bypass which was turned down in 1997. The Harnham Relief Road and its compatriot the Brunel Link both have provisional funding.
